Role: Senior Application Support Engineer Location:Chennai – World Trade Center, Perungudi Work Mode:Hybrid Timing: (London Shift 1:30 - 10:30 PM)*Cab facilities provided both ways*About the Role We are looking for aSenior Application Support Engineerwith stronghands-on L2/L3 support experienceincommodities trading or financial services environments . This is abusiness-facing, front-office support rolerequiring deep technical expertise, ownership of incidents, and the ability to work in a fast-paced 24x7 environment.Key Responsibilities ProvideL2/L3 application supportfor critical trading applications (e.g.,Endur, Trayport ) Lead incident management, troubleshooting, androot cause analysis Ensure high availability and rapid resolution for front-office users (traders, risk, operations) Support applications hosted onMicrosoft Azure(App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB) Work closely with business users, developers, infrastructure, and vendors Act asSMEduring releases, changes, and production issues Develop minor code fixes, scripts, and automation to improve stability and efficiency Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base Mentor and guide junior support team members Mandatory Requirements 10–15 yearsof application support experience Strongfront-office, business-facing supportincommodities trading / financial services StrongSQLskills (queries, optimization, stored procedures) Experience supportingreal-time trading environments Good understanding ofAzure cloud operations Willingness to work in a24x7 support environment Technical Skills Trading workflows: trade capture, risk, scheduling, settlements SQL & database performance tuning Scripting: Python / PowerShell / Shell Windows & Linux environments Monitoring, alerting, and automation toolsKindly share your resume ataishwarya.saravanan@
