Assistant Professor

GITAM (Deemed to be University) invites applications for a faculty position in Business Analytics within the GITAM School of Business. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and Post graduate courses, conduct research in the field of Information Systems, and contribute to departmental and institutional service.Roles & Responsibilities:Faculty of Business Analytics are required to teach in Business School on Big Data Analytics, Emerging Technologies in Business, Artificial Intelligence in Business, Master of Business Administration, Digital Ecosystems, IT and Digital Strategy, Web and Social Media Analytics, Digitalization in Business, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Natural Language Processing for Business, Challenges of AI Technology Regulations- Engage in scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals. - Advise and mentor students academically and professionally. - Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives. - Contribute to service activities at the departmental, college, and university levels. - Engage with industry partners and support student internship opportunities.Education & Experience:- Ph.D. in Information Systems, or related field. - B.Tech-CSE/IT, MBA/M.Sc preferably - Effective teaching or potential for excellence in teaching. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience in IT, business analytics, or cybersecurity. - Demonstrated research record or potential for scholarly productivity. - Familiarity with learning management systems and technology-enhanced teaching.
