Senior Supply Chain Specialist

Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Identification & Evaluation : Research and assess potential suppliers for electrical components like inverters, transformers, switchgear, and wiring systems used in solar installations. Contract Negotiation : Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and service agreements to ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality. Technical Collaboration : Work closely with design and project engineers to ensure procured items meet technical specifications and project requirements. Inventory & Logistics Management : Monitor inventory levels, forecast future needs, and coordinate timely delivery of materials to project sites. Quality Assurance : Ensure all procured equipment complies with industry standards and certifications relevant to solar energy systems. Cost Optimization : Conduct cost-benefit analyses and identify opportunities for savings through strategic sourcing and vendor partnerships. Qualifications & Skills Education : Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 05-08 years in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably within the solar or renewable energy industry. Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with solar PV systems, electrical schematics, and grid integration components. Software Proficiency : Experience with ERP systems, procurement platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite. Soft Skills : Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Industry-Specific Expectations Renewable Energy Focus : Understanding of solar technologies, sustainability goals, and regulatory frameworks.
