Senior Fund Accountant

We’re looking for aFund Accountantwith hands-on experience inprivate equity, private credit, or fund administration . This role focuses on fund-level accounting while also supporting portfolio company oversight. You’ll manage monthly closes, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance while working closely with senior accountants, CPAs, and partners.Key ResponsibilitiesRunmonthly closeand oversee full-cycle accounting in QuickBooks or similar Record and trackinterest, fee, and equity incomeacross structured deals Preparemanagement reportsandinvestor-ready financial statements Support CPAs ontax prep, filings, and fund administration Review financials from 1–5 portfolio companies and flag variances EnsureGAAP-compliant reportingacross multiple industries Standardize reporting templates and assist CFOs/finance leadsRequirementsMinimum 5 years of direct fund accounting experience(private equity, private debt, or fund admin required) Strong knowledge ofU.S. GAAPandmulti-entity consolidations Background working with companies in the$10M–$100M revenue range Ability to manage bothfund-level and portfolio-level reporting CPA preferred Proficiency withQuickBooksor other accounting platformsTraits We ValueClear, concise communicator with excellent documentation skills Operator mindset — adds value beyond compliance and reporting Able to balance recurring closes with special projects Integrity, accountability, and ownership mentality
