Role Description This is a hybrid internship role for a B2B Sales Specialist - Product & Growth located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area with the flexibility to work from home on certain days. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as generating leads, building and maintaining client relationships, conducting sales presentations, and supporting the sales management team. Responsibilities also include developing strategies for customer engagement, providing training on product features, and delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development (60%) Execute full B2B sales cycle: lead generation → meeting booking → customer calls → onboarding → ongoing support Own and achieve monthly KPIs for meetings booked, demos conducted, and customers onboarded Build relationships with restaurant owners, marketing managers, and hospitality groups Provide exceptional customer support throughout the client lifecycle Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools Product & Content Support (40%) Conduct product testing and QA for new features before client releases Write and refine website copy that converts visitors into leads Create compelling pitch deck content for investor meetings and client presentations Collaborate with engineering team to document bugs and user feedback Assist in creating product documentation and user guides Required Qualifications 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or hospitality tech Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets Strong writing skills with ability to create persuasive marketing copy Technical aptitude to understand and test software products Experience with CRM systems and sales automation tools Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications Experience in restaurant/hospitality industry or influencer marketing Familiarity with API documentation or technical writing Background in product testing or QA processes Experience with pitch deck creation and investor communications Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok) and creator economy What Success Looks Like Month 1-3: Complete product knowledge training and understand our tech stack Shadow customer calls and begin conducting demos independently Write and deploy 5+ website copy updates Complete testing for 2+ product releases Month 3-6: Consistently book 15+ qualified meetings per month Achieve 30% demo-to-customer conversion rate Own the entire customer journey for 10+ accounts Lead creation of new sales collateral and pitch deck updates Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: ₹1,00,000 per month (₹12 lakhs per annum) Performance Bonus: 15% commission on all closed deals (uncapped) Total Earning Potential: ₹15-25 lakhs per annum for on-target performance Additional Benefits: Equity options for high performers after 6 months Performance review every 6 months with salary revision opportunity Professional development budget Flexible work arrangements Direct exposure to product development and strategic decisions Bonus Structure Example: Close ₹20 lakhs in annual deals = ₹3 lakhs in commission Close ₹40 lakhs in annual deals = ₹6 lakhs in commission Top performers regularly exceed ₹20 lakhs total compensation This role is perfect for someone who wants to go beyond traditional sales and contribute meaningfully to product development and company growth.
