Designing conversational services , you'll partner with clinical psychologists to ensure efficacy and reliability at scale. Collaborate on API creation, QA, and implementation with front end teams. Build, operate services for conversation state, user memory, retrieval, and tool integrations. Implement alignment & safety layers tuned to clinical guidelines. Optimize for latency, cost, and quality. Partner tightly with product, sales, and users to scope new features. 5+ years building backend systems in production, with strong systems and API design skills. Hands-on experience with AI agents, RAG pipelines, and LLMs. Cloud infrastructure expertise (Google Cloud Platform). Proficiency with relational + vector/search systems and real-time communication (sockets, WebRTC).
