Maintenance In-ChargeCore ResponsibilitiesMechanical Maintenance:Manage and lead the team of Fitters, Welders, and Helpers.Plan and execute daily maintenance activities for the shift.Attend immediately to problems in running reactors.Ensure all plant machinery, including Nitrogen Plants, Compressors, Pumps (oil transfer, cooling tower, burner), and utilities, are maintained and in working condition.Schedule and follow general and preventive maintenance (e.g., greasing).Coordinate with the Electrical Department for repairs of motors and panels.Safety & Compliance:Ensure the Work Permit System (Hot/Cold work permits) is strictly followed.Maintain all firefighting equipment (extinguishers, hydrant lines) in working condition.Ensure all works are done according to safety protocols.Stores & Inventory:Manage and track the consumption of spare parts.Review consumption monthly and analyze variances.Take corrective action to reduce spare consumption and replace frequently spoiled spares with durable ones.Ensure a spare reactor is kept ready.Coordination & Reporting:Keep in touch with Process/Production departments and Supervisors for live issues.Coordinate with external vendors (for fabrication, vehicle repair, AMC visits).Report maintenance challenges to the Plant Head daily.
