Senior CAD Engineer Trainer

Job Title: CAD Engineer Location: Remote Job type: Part-timeJob Summary: We are seeking an experiencedCAD Engineer Trainerto deliver training programs in2D/3D modeling, CAD software applications, technical drawings, GD&T, BOM preparation, and design documentation . The trainer will design and deliver industry-focused training modules coveringmedical devices, automotive, aerospace, electrical, and multi-industry applications . The role involves guiding learners through practical exercises, real-world case studies, and compliance with global design and engineering standards.Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver training modules onCAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, and related tools) . Provide hands-on training in2D and 3D modeling, part/assembly design, and drafting techniques . Teachtechnical drawing standards, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and engineering documentation . Guide learners inBill of Materials (BOM) preparation, revision control, and design documentation practices . Demonstrate industry-specific CAD applications inmedical devices, automotive, aerospace, and electrical engineering . Train on design validation, manufacturability considerations, and compliance with engineering standards. Support learners withreal-world case studies, problem-solving exercises, and project-based training . Evaluate learner performance, provide feedback, and suggest improvement plans. Stay updated with the latestCAD software versions, industry practices, and design regulations .Required Skills & Expertise: Strong proficiency inAutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA (and other major CAD platforms) . Expertise in2D drafting and 3D modeling techniques . Knowledge ofGD&T principles, ISO/ASME drawing standards, and tolerancing practices . Experience inBOM preparation, revision control, and design documentation . Understanding ofproduct design lifecycle, manufacturability, and compliance requirements . Industry exposure inmedical devices, automotive, aerospace, electrical, or related fields . Excellent training, mentoring, and communication skills.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field. Minimum10+ years of CAD engineering experiencein relevant industries. Priortraining/mentoring experienceis highly preferred. Certification inCAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA)is an advantage.
