Study Abroad Tele-Counsellor

OverviewWe are seeking a Tele-Counsellor to engage with students and provide first-level counselling. The primary responsibility is to reach out to prospective students from our database, explain our services, and convert them into leads by scheduling a counselling session with the company owner (either virtual or in-person).Office Location: Opposite Matunga West Railway StationKey ResponsibilitiesOutbound CallingCall students from the provided database to inform them about our overseas education services.Engage in meaningful conversations to understand students’ interests, needs, and aspirations for studying abroad.Service ExplanationClearly communicate the benefits of our services, admission guidance, visa assistanceHandle initial questions and objections professionally and empathetically.First-Level CounsellingProvide basic guidance to students about studying abroad, including university options, country preferences, and application timelines.Build trust and credibility with prospective students during conversations.Lead ConversionSchedule virtual or in-person counselling sessions with the company owner.Ensure that follow-up calls are made to confirm appointments and address any doubts before the session.CRM & Database MaintenanceMaintain accurate and detailed records of student interactions and feedback in the CRM (Lead Squared).Submit daily and weekly reports on calls made, leads converted, and counselling sessions scheduled.CollaborationCoordinate with the counselling team to ensure seamless follow-up on leads.Work closely with the management to refine calling scripts and strategies.Candidate RequirementsMinimum 2 years experience in a Study Abroad or EdTech company.Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi (additional local languages are a plus).Confident, proactive, empathetic, and persuasive.Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer applications is preferred.Minimum Bachelors degree completed.Key CompetenciesStrong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students.Ability to build relationships with students, understand their needs & handle objectionsMaintain a good follow up strategy over the phone & WhatsApp to convert leadsWhat We OfferMonthly Salary: Industry-standard salary based on experience and skills.Monthly Incentives: Attractive performance-based bonuses for achieving first level targets.Growth Opportunities: Chance to learn and grow in the overseas education sector.Please apply to the position if this role interests you and we will get back to you in 48 to 96 hours in case you are shortlisted for the next round.
