Secondary English Teacher

Company Description Omkar Cambridge International School, Dombivli requires Masters in English Language/ Literature with Bachelor’s in Education with minimum of two years of experience teaching Secondary or higher Secondary School .Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Secondary English Teacher, located in Kalyan Dombivli. The Secondary English Teacher will be responsible for teaching English literature, creating lesson plans, developing and implementing curriculum, and assessing student progress. Additional responsibilities include participating in departmental meetings, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating with parents and guardians to discuss student performance and behavior. The teacher will also be responsible for providing support to students to help them achieve their academic potential and overall development.Qualifications- Qualified Teacher with a background in English Teaching and English Literature - Strong Lesson Planning skills and experience in Curriculum Development - Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues - Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment - Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus - Certification in teaching or in the subject area is preferred
