Our mission is to bridge the gap between AI innovation and responsible governance through education, research, and community building.Position SummaryWe are seeking an exceptional Project Manager / Project Lead to spearhead the development, launch, and commercialization of our Global AI Policy Chatbot  – an AI-powered platform that will provide real-time intelligence on AI legislation and regulations across 50+ jurisdictions worldwide.This is a unique hybrid role that combines product management, business development, and policy expertise. You will be responsible for:1.   Managing the technical development of the AI Policy Chatbot with our third-party development partners2.   Driving monetization and partnerships with governments, international organizations, enterprises, and policy institutions3.   Building market presence through strategic marketing, thought leadership, and sales initiativesThe ideal candidate is equally comfortable discussing the nuances of the EU AI Act with a government minister, negotiating an enterprise licensing deal with a Fortune 500 CAIO, and running a sprint review with a development team. Key Responsibilities1. Product Development & Project Management (40%)•      Serve as the primary liaison between Knowledge Networks and third-party development partners, ensuring the AI Policy Chatbot is built to specification, on time, and within budget•      Define and prioritize product requirements based on market research, user feedback, and strategic objectives•      Manage the product roadmap, sprint planning, and release cycles using Agile/Scrum methodologies•      Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), quality assurance, and bug tracking•      Ensure data accuracy and coverage across global jurisdictions (US, EU, UK, Asia-Pacific, international bodies)•      Track project milestones, risks, and dependencies; provide regular status reports to leadership2. Business Development & Monetization (35%)•      Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy targeting multiple customer segments:○    Governments & Regulatory Bodies: National AI authorities, ministries of technology, legislative bodies○    International Organizations: OECD, UNESCO, World Economic Forum, regional bodies (ASEAN, AU, etc.)○    Enterprises: Fortune 500 companies, AI startups, law firms, consulting firms○    Academic & Research Institutions: Universities, think tanks, policy research centers•      Identify, qualify, and cultivate partnership opportunities; manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure•      Design and implement tiered pricing models (free, professional, enterprise, government) to maximize revenue and market penetration•      Negotiate licensing agreements, partnership MOUs, and enterprise contracts•      Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the global AI policy ecosystem•      Represent Knowledge Networks at international conferences, summits, and policy forums (virtual and in-person)3. Marketing & Thought Leadership (25%)•      Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive awareness and adoption of the AI Policy Chatbot•      Create compelling sales collateral: pitch decks, product demos, case studies, white papers, and ROI calculators•      Leverage RegulatingAI's 100,000+ subscriber base for product promotion and lead generation•      Contribute to thought leadership content: blog posts, podcast appearances, webinar presentations on AI policy trends•      Manage social media presence and digital marketing initiatives related to the product•      Track marketing metrics, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs; optimize campaigns based on data Required QualificationsEducation•      Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Business Administration, Technology Management, or related field•      Certifications in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are a strong plusExperience•      5-10 years of professional experience with a demonstrated track record in at least two of the following areas:○    Technology product management or project management○    Business development, partnerships, or B2B/B2G sales○    Public policy, government relations, or regulatory affairs○    Marketing, communications, or thought leadership•      Experience working with government clients or international organizations is highly desirable•      Experience managing third-party vendors or development teams (offshore/nearshore experience is a plus)•      Startup or nonprofit experience demonstrating ability to wear multiple hats and operate with limited resourcesKnowledge & SkillsPolicy Expertise:•      Strong understanding of AI policy landscape, including EU AI Act, US federal/state AI legislation, and emerging global frameworks•      Familiarity with key AI governance concepts: algorithmic accountability, high-risk AI systems, transparency requirements, impact assessments•      Understanding of the intersection between AI policy, data protection (GDPR), and digital regulationCommercial Acumen:•      Proven ability to identify market opportunities, develop value propositions, and close deals•      Experience with SaaS/subscription business models and enterprise sales cycles•      Comfort with financial modeling, pricing strategy, and revenue forecastingTechnical Fluency:•      Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams without being a developer•      Understanding of AI/ML concepts, particularly as they relate to NLP, chatbots, and search systems•      Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, , Notion) and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot)Communication:•      Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (native or near-native proficiency required)•      Ability to translate complex policy and technical concepts for diverse audiences•      Strong presentation skills;
