Combine your scientific expertise with creative skills to produce engaging materials. We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science and experience in creating visually appealing graphics. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality graphics that meet their expectations. Responsibilities: Develop concise graphical abstracts summarizing the essence of a scientific study. Read and comprehend scientific manuscripts to extract key visual elements and concepts. Create storyboards outlining the visual narrative, aligning with scientific content and client objectives. Generate rough sketches illustrating initial visual concepts, collaborating with researchers, writers, and clients to refine and finalize the visual representation. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM fields such as Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering. 3-5 years of experience in scientific graphic designing, communicating complex scientific ideas into visually engaging outputs. Advanced skills in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop). Experience in creating 3D designs is an added advantage. Understanding of the scientific publishing and science communication landscape. This role involves one technical assessment and one interview round.
