Cashier Cum Accountant

Job Summary:We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier Cum Accountant to manage daily cash transactions, maintain financial records, and support accounting operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling cash, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate financial documentation.Key Responsibilities:Cash Handling:Manage daily cash transactions including receipts and paymentsMaintain cash book and ensure accuracy in entriesPerform daily cash reconciliation and report discrepanciesHandle petty cash and maintain proper recordsAccounting Duties:Record financial transactions in accounting softwareMaintain ledgers, invoices, and vouchersAssist in accounts payable and receivablePrepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reportsSupport bank reconciliationsBilling & Documentation:Generate invoices and receiptsMaintain proper filing of financial documentsEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsCoordination:Coordinate with internal departments for billing and paymentsAssist auditors and senior accountants when requiredRequirements:Graduate in Commerce ( preferred)1–3 years of experience in cashier/accounting roleBasic knowledge of accounting principlesProficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally)Good numerical and analytical skillsAttention to detail and accuracyStrong integrity and ability to handle cash responsiblyPreferred Skills:Experience in healthcare / clinic / hospital setupKnowledge of GST and basic taxationSalary:₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (depending on experience)
