Role overviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Research Analyst to join our knowledge and research team. The role combines academic rigor with practical relevance, requiring someone who can analyze, interpret, and present complex tax legislation and concepts in a clear, authoritative, and engaging manner.The candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our content while contributing to the development of thought leadership that strengthens ’s position as the leading reference point for GCC tax professionals.III. Key responsibilities1. Content accuracy & reviewReview, interpret, and validate tax laws, regulations, treaties, and official guidance for publication. Ensure content is accurate, timely, and aligned with international standards and best practices.2. Knowledge developmentDraft technical articles, case studies, and analytical notes on domestic and international tax topics. Develop explanatory notes, annotations, and summaries to make complex tax provisions accessible.3. Training & thought leadershipAssist in designing and delivering training modules (introductory to intermediate). Contribute to knowledge resources such as FAQs, guides, and toolkits. Deliver internal or user-facing tax training sessions as required.4. Research & editorial supportMonitor regional tax developments, with emphasis on GCC and international tax policy. Support the product and tech teams in curating content for AI-enabled research tools. Participate in peer review processes to uphold editorial excellence.IV. Qualifications & skillsetsProfessional qualification in Tax, Accounting, or Law (e.g., Chartered Accountant, LLB/LLM in Tax, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent). 5–7 years’ experience in taxation, with strong exposure to international tax concepts. Exceptional research, drafting, and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complexity. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of international tax frameworks (OECD, BEPS, treaties, Pillar 1 & 2) and core tax concepts. Prior experience in academic/research roles, publishing, or knowledge management is desirable but not mandatory. Ability to work independently in a remote and flexible environment.V.
