From prompt to rendered video, we are designing intelligent workflows that combine AI models, scalable infrastructure, and seamless UI.We care about performance, architecture, and shipping real features.Role OverviewWe are looking for a strong AI Engineer with deep experience in Node.js and Next.js to help architect and scale AI-driven video systems.This is not a basic frontend role. You will work across:AI model integrationsBackend servicesServerless infrastructureVideo processing workflowsProduction-grade deploymentsYou should be comfortable owning features end-to-end.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain scalable applications using Next.js (App Router)Develop backend systems using Node.jsDesign secure API routes and server-side logicDeploy and manage applications on VercelIntegrate third-party AI APIs (LLMs, image-to-video, text-to-video, TTS, etc.)Build async job workflows for video generation and renderingOptimize performance for heavy AI and video workloadsImplement authentication, rate limiting, usage trackingWork with video tools such as FFmpeg and encoding pipelinesConnect frontend to AI processing infrastructure securelyRequired Skills3+ years experience in Node.js backend developmentStrong experience with Next.js (App Router, Server Components, API routes)Experience deploying production apps on VercelExperience building REST or GraphQL APIsSolid understanding of async systems and background job queuesExperience integrating AI APIsUnderstanding of video processing fundamentalsDatabase experience (PostgreSQL, Supabase, MongoDB, etc.)Authentication systems (JWT, OAuth, session-based auth)Preferred ExperienceExperience with video software or media toolsExperience building SaaS platformsExperience with cloud storage (S3, Cloudflare R2)Experience handling large file uploads and processing pipelinesFamiliarity with AI model orchestrationExperience with real-time features (WebSockets)What We’re Looking ForProduct thinker, not task executorClean, modular code habitsComfortable working in a fast-moving startup environmentStrong debugging and performance optimization skillsAbility to build systems that scaleBonus PointsExperience with AI video generation modelsStartup experienceExperience scaling to thousands of active usersPrior work on creator tools or content platforms
