Design Systems Engineer & Asset Automation (30h / Remote)This role focuses on translating legacy Adobe marketing assets into a scalable, rule-based Figma design system built for automation and reuse. Migrating all marketing design assets from Adobe Creative Cloud to Figma and restructure them into a systematic, automation-ready design library. The output must be machine-readable, scalable, and usable for downstream automation (templates, variants, localization, AI usage).The role is not about visual redesign. It is about translation, systematization, and standardization.Key Responsibilities:Asset Migration & TranslationTranslate existing Adobe CC files (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) into Figma equivalentsPreserve visual fidelity while restructuring assets for component-based usageResolve Adobe-specific constructs that do not map 1:1 to FigmaDesign System StructuringConvert static designs into Figma components, variants, and auto-layout structuresDefine and enforce naming conventions for layers, components, tokens, and framesModularize assets for reuse (logos, UI blocks, layouts, visuals, illustrations)Automation ReadinessPrepare assets so they can be:Programmatically duplicatedAuto-localizedAuto-brandedUsed by scripts, plugins, or APIsEnsure consistency required for rule-based and AI-driven automationQuality & GovernanceValidate migrated assets against brand guidelinesIdentify gaps or inconsistencies in legacy Adobe assets and flag them clearlyKey Requirements:Technical / ToolingAdvanced Figma expertise (components, variants, auto-layout, libraries)Strong Adobe Creative Cloud background (Illustrator mandatory; Photoshop/InDesign strongly preferred)Proven experience migrating or refactoring large design librariesStructural ThinkingAbility to think in systems, not single designsExperience turning “creative files” into standardized, reusable assetsHigh discipline in naming, hierarchy, and consistencyNice to Have:Experience with design tokens and brand systemsExposure to design-to-code or design automation workflowsFamiliarity with Figma plugins, APIs, or scriptingExperience supporting localization, personalization, or large-scale campaign productionUnderstanding of how AI tools consume structured design assetsWhat We OfferThe opportunity to be part of shaping a next-generation IT companyHelp organizations process data for the next generationBroad professional development opportunitiesPleasant, familiar working atmosphere including an open-door policyInteresting and varied work in a constantly growing companyWe are looking forward to receiving your CV via  CYBERTEC PostgreSQL International GmbH is an equal opportunities employer.
