8-12 years Atleast 2-3 implements and no. of projects they worked , they should be able to guide implementation from scratch Contract 3-6monthsRate Hourly basesKey Responsibilities• Develop and improve the data governance framework, including policies, standards,and processes.• Set and maintain data quality rules, KPIs, and standards for critical data.• Lead data governance forums to make decisions on data ownership, definitions,and issue resolution.• Work with data owners and SMEs to create business glossaries, data dictionaries,and metadata.• Perform data profiling and quality checks; identify issues and drive fixes withbusiness and IT teams( DQ Jobs for Data Inconsistency).• Implement data quality monitoring with rules, workflows, and dashboards.• Should be able to build Workflow processes using Groovy scripts for Automation.• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal data policies (e.g., privacy,security).• Promote data stewardship and literacy through training and guidance.• Manage data governance and quality tools and onboard users.• Report on governance and quality metrics to senior stakeholders.• Mentor team members and help improve the overall governance model.Required Experience & Qualifications• 8–12 years in data management, with 5+ years in data governance or data qualityroles.• Experience creating and implementing governance frameworks and standards.• Hands-on experience with data quality assessment, rule creation, and monitoring.• Strong knowledge of data management principles (e.g., DMBOK, DAMA, DCAM),metadata, and lineage.• Familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).• Ability to work across teams and drive governance initiatives.• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; master’s or certifications (e.g., CDMP)preferred.Skills & Tools• Expertise in data governance and quality best practices.• SQL proficiency and experience with databases and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure,GCP).• Knowledge of governance tools (Collibra, Alation, Informatica) and DQ tools(Informatica DQ, Talend).• Familiarity with MDM, metadata, and lineage tools.• Familiarity with Collibra -Groovy Scripting along with API’s• Familiarity with Job Server/Edge Server Configuration in Collibra• Collibra Ranger Certification is an added advantage(not mandatory)• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
