Consultant – Startup Ecosystem & Investment

Position:Full-Time Consultant – Liftoff Program (Startup Investment Readiness) Location:Remote/Bangalore Duration:6 months (with potential extension) About Wadhwani Foundation Wadhwani Foundation is a global non-profit organization committed to accelerating economic growth by driving large-scale job creation through entrepreneurship, small business growth, innovation, and skill development. OurLiftoff Programsupports early-stage startups in becoming investment-ready by providing mentorship, resources, and access to investor networks. Role Overview We are seeking aFull-Time Consultantto support the smooth execution of the Liftoff Program. This role involves close coordination with startups, mentors, and the program team to ensure high-quality pitch preparation and successful Demo Day outcomes. The consultant will bring strong organizational skills, deep knowledge of the startup ecosystem, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate mock pitch sessions for participating startups. Communicate schedules and expectations with startups and mentors. Block calendars for both startups and expert mentors. Capture and document session notes and expert feedback. Plan, organize, and execute theDemo Dayevent. Manage pre- and post-Demo Day engagements. Follow up with participating startups to track progress and outcomes. Collaborate with the program team to gather relevant data and insights. Evaluate startup readiness for investment using defined criteria. Qualifications Education:Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Experience:Minimum 3–4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the startup or investment ecosystem. Communication Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Ecosystem Insight:Deep understanding of early-stage investment trends, funding cycles, and investor expectations. Adaptability:Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment and managing multiple priorities.
