Accountant

Role: Accountant (AccountsIQ Focused) Shift: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST Role Overview We are looking for a highly sharp, detail-oriented, and fast-learning Accountant with strong hands-on experience in AccountsIQ to manage end-to-end financial operations for a US-based financial services firm. This is a high ownership role — you will independently manage accounting processes primarily on AccountsIQ, ensure accuracy, and provide clear financial visibility to leadership. Key Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day accounting (AP/AR, reconciliations, general ledger) within AccountsIQ - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using AccountsIQ - Handle payroll accounting, expense tracking, and documentation - Perform reconciliations, reporting, and data management on AccountsIQ - Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis - Assist in tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance - Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date financial records on AccountsIQ What We’re Looking For - Extremely sharp and quick learner (non-negotiable) - Strong attention to detail with high accuracy - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - High ownership and accountability - Strong problem-solving mindset - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment - Strong, hands-on working experience with AccountsIQ (core requirement) - Confidence in navigating, troubleshooting, and optimizing workflows within AccountsIQ Requirements (Non-Negotiable) - 2–5 years of accounting / finance experience - Mandatory: Hands-on experience using AccountsIQ in a professional environment - Candidates without AccountsIQ experience will not be considered - Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
