Market Research Intern

About the RoleThis is a high-impact 30-day field research project where you’ll map Aizawl’s entire broiler ecosystem — demand, pricing, sourcing, players, and trade practices. You’ll act as our “eyes and ears” in the market, visiting shops, interacting with traders, collecting structured data, and presenting weekly insights that will shape our Mizoram entry strategy. If you enjoy fieldwork, talking to people, understanding how markets work, and contributing to real business decisions — this role is perfect for you.What You’ll Do (Your Missions) Visit key Aizawl markets and interview butchers, wholesalers, retailers & distributors Map sourcing patterns, weekly demand, preferred bird weight & product formats Track daily/weekly pricing trends across markets Document credit terms, supply chains, and trade practices Maintain daily progress updates + submit weekly structured reports Deliver a final insights summary for the leadership teamRequirements Resident of Mizoram (Aizawl preferred) Must speak Mizo fluently; comfortable with English (for reporting); Hindi is a plus Undergraduate/Post-graduate (Management, Commerce, Engineering background preferred) Comfortable with field visits and interviewing market participants Basic Excel/Sheets skills + strong communication and reliabilityWhat you’ll get? Fixed stipend of of ₹6k on successful completion + local market-visit expense reimbursement. Internship completion certificate.
