We get close to 10 million visitors monthly.Job Description:Roles And ResponsibilitiesProofread and edit written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity.Attention to detail and an eye for spotting mistakes in both spelling and grammarEnsure that a zero-error copy is publishedEnsure consistency in style, tone, and language usageVerify factual accuracy and facilitate necessary changesCollaborate with writers & editorial team to deliver quality contentPerform thorough checks for typographical errors and formatting issuesSuggest revisions and enhancements to improve overall content qualityKnowledge of entertainment content & pop culture is necessary to understand the context of the contentPublish proofread articles on WordPress (WordPress training will be provided)Adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Deliver within timelines in a fast-paced environment.Stay updated with industry best practices and latest editing trendsQualifications & Skills 2- 4 years of experience as a Proofreader in media, entertainment, short form (blogs, articles), online contentAble to deal with a large daily volume (average 300-500 words/article or higher).A graduate with expert-level written and spoken English and impeccable grammar.Strong knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation rulesAttention to detail and exceptional proofreading skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in using editing tools and software (Grammarly)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in writing entertainment content online will be an added bonus.
