Sales Executive – Rainwater HarvestingCompany: Furaat Earth Private LimitedExperience: 3+ YearsLocation: AhmedabadAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Technical Sales Executive who can understand site conditions for rainwater harvesting, propose technically sound solutions, and successfully close sales. The role requires field visits, customer interaction, site assessment, and coordination with technical teams to deliver effective rainwater harvesting systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.This position is ideal for candidates who combine technical understanding with strong sales capability and enjoy consultative, solution-driven selling.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Sales & SolutioningConduct site visits to assess the feasibility of rainwater harvesting systems.Evaluate site parameters such as roof area, runoff, soil condition, percolation, drainage, and water demand.Recommend appropriate solutions including recharge pits, borewell recharge, storage tanks, and filtration systems.Understand client requirements and propose customized technical solutions.Sales & Business DevelopmentGenerate leads across industries, real estate developments, institutions, and large campuses.Follow up on enquiries and convert prospects into customers.Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and quotations.Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to successfully close deals.Client ManagementAct as the primary point of contact from enquiry through project execution.Handle technical queries and objections during the sales cycle.Coordinate with engineering and installation teams to ensure smooth delivery.Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.Assist with payment follow-ups and project handover documentation.RequirementsEducational QualificationDiploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred: Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related field)ORAny graduate with relevant experience in technical or construction-related sales.ExperienceMinimum 3+ years in technical sales, preferably in construction, infrastructure, water management, plumbing, or building solutions.Proven track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets.Technical SkillsBasic to good knowledge of plumbing, drainage, and civil site conditions.Ability to understand site layouts and take basic measurements.Strong aptitude for solution-based technical selling.Sales & Soft SkillsExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.Consultative and solution-oriented approach to sales.Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive.Comfortable with extensive fieldwork and client meetings.Language proficiency: Hindi and English (regional language is a plus).Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive fixed salary + performance-based incentives.Travel allowance / reimbursement.Comprehensive product and technical training.Strong growth opportunity within a fast-expanding water solutions company.
