Job Title:Quantity Surveyor cum Billing Engineer Location:Sanand, Ahmedabad Qualification:Bachelor / Master’s Degree in relevant field Experience:Minimum 5 Years Notice Period:Immediately availableAbout Us We are hiring for our global EPMC client specializing in Pharma and Cleanroom projects.Roles & Responsibilities Quantity Surveying Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for projects based on designs and specifications. Conduct quantity take-offs and validate measurements for all construction works. Regularly update project cost estimates and budgets to ensure alignment with actuals. Billing Management Prepare and submit contractor and client bills (RA Bills, final bills, etc.) as per contract terms. Reconcile project costs and ensure timely billing to clients and vendors. Verify contractor claims, certifications, and invoices against actual progress and deliverables. Cost Control & Monitoring Monitor project costs and provide variance analysis reports to management. Assist in identifying potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Contract Management Review and interpret contract documents, including tender documents, scope of work, and payment terms. Coordinate with project teams to ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of quantities, billing documents, and payment schedules. Generate MIS reports, cost analyses, and cash flow statements for internal review. Site Coordination Collaborate with site engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of work. Conduct site visits to verify progress and ensure adherence to planned quantities and quality standards. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. PGDM in QS from NICMAR candidate will be prefered. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying and billing, preferably in construction projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word), and billing software like SAP, Tally, or ERP systems. Strong understanding of construction practices, methods, and materials. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with teams and clients. Strong knowledge in rate analysis. Strong knowledge of local government and Delhi Scheduled of Rate schedule of rates. Strong knowledge of IS codal provisions.
