Join Our Team as a Production Support Engineer – Keep Mission-Critical Trading Systems Running MSBC is seeking a motivated, detail-orientedProduction Support Engineerto support aFixed Income Trading Platform . You’ll ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of business-critical trading applications in a fast-paced environment, partnering closely with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Business teams to resolve incidents quickly and prevent recurrence.Key Tools and Frameworks Operating Systems:Linux, Windows Databases & SQL:SQL scripting; relational databases for diagnostics & reporting Monitoring & Observability:Open-source & commercial tools such asNagios, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Scripting & Automation:Bash/Shell, Python, PowerShell for run-book automation and observability improvements Networking:System & network health monitoring and troubleshooting across distributed servicesKey Responsibilities Application & Platform Support:Provide L1/L2 support for Fixed Income trading applications; monitor performance and uptime; triage live issues to minimize trading impact. Incident & Problem Management:Own incidents to SLA; drive root-cause analysis; implement permanent fixes; maintain clear incident documentation for audit/compliance. System & Network Monitoring:Track system and network health; collaborate with infra/network teams to resolve bottlenecks and failures quickly. Database & Scripting:Write and maintain SQL scripts for validation, monitoring, and reporting; use scripts/automation to streamline support. OS & Tools Expertise:Troubleshoot across Linux/Windows; perform log analysis; enhance observability and tooling. Collaboration & Communication:Liaise with Dev, QA, Infrastructure, and Business stakeholders; coordinate with external vendors; set expectations clearly. Operational Excellence:Contribute to continuous improvements in alerting, monitoring, and process automation; adhere to operational standards and compliance.Required Skills & Qualifications 4–5 yearsof hands-onproduction supportexperience with high-availability, low-latency systems (preferably trading platforms). Familiarity withFixed Income markets, trading concepts, and instruments . Experience in aproduction supportenvironment withhigh-availability, low-latencysystems. Proficiency with monitoring/log analysis tools (e.g.,Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK ). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written English communication; strong ownership and accountability; ability to work under pressure and juggle priorities.
