Job Description – Social Development Specialist (Position–2)Project Authority: Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Funding Agency: World Bank Location: Ahmedabad, GujaratKey Responsibilities:Conduct and support socio-economic surveys and need assessment studiesAssist in planning and implementation of training and capacity-building programmesSupport livelihood analysis and implementation of skill development and vocational training activitiesAssist in preparation and implementation of Gender Action PlanSupport activities related to RCH/MCH and community health awarenessFacilitate community consultations and participatory planning processesCoordinate with AMC, local agencies, NGOs, and community institutionsMonitor field activities and assist in preparation of progress reportsEnsure compliance with World Bank guidelines and project requirementsQualifications & Experience:Graduate degree in Social Sciences or related disciplineMinimum 5 years of overall work experience, including at least 2 years in rural development projectsSound understanding of socio-economic surveys, training & capacity building, and need assessment processesExperience in livelihood analysis, skill development, and vocational training programmesExperience in Gender Action Plan implementation and RCH/MCH activitiesStrong participatory management skillsProficiency in Gujarati, Hindi, and EnglishApply:Please send your updated CV and portfolio (if applicable) to hr.radiant.archi@ with the subject line:“ Gender/ social Development Expert – Capacity Building– World Bank Project”.
