Team Leader – F&A (Record to Report)

Location:Ahmedabad Shift Timing:2:00 PM to 11:00 PM (IST) Position Overview We are seeking aqualified CA or CPAwith extensive experience inFinance & Accounting (F&A)and theRecord to Report (R2R)process. The ideal candidate will have a solid grounding inUS accounting standards (US GAAP)and proven leadership skills in managing end-to-end R2R operations. As aTeam Leader , you will oversee accounting deliverables, manage a team of finance professionals, and ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all reporting activities. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage theRecord to Report (R2R)process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close. Review and oversee thepreparation and finalization of financial statementsand management reports. Ensuretimely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activitiesin line with US GAAP and company policies. Supervise a team of accountants,providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback . Reviewbalance sheet reconciliations , accruals, and other accounting adjustments. Driveprocess improvements and automationwithin the F&A domain to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Partner with cross-functional teams (AP, AR, FP&A) to ensure seamless accounting operations. Manageaudit requirements , internal controls, and compliance documentation. Identify and mitigate risks in accounting processes through proactive controls. Ideal Candidate Profile Chartered Accountant (CA)orCertified Public Accountant (CPA)qualification is mandatory. 3–5 years of experiencein Finance & Accounting, withstrong exposure to the Record to Report (R2R)cycle. 1–2 years of experience in a team leadership or supervisory role. In-depth understanding ofUS GAAP , general ledger accounting, and financial reporting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills. Proficient inERP systems(e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks). Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Prior experience in ashared services or KPO environmentis a plus.
