About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Investment Coordinator to support NMTC (New Markets Tax Credits) investments and clients . This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impact-driven finance projects that strengthen low-income communities while also developing skills in transaction support, compliance, and asset management. The Investment Coordinator will play a key role in supporting investment closings, managing compliance documentation, coordinating team operations, and ensuring accurate investor reporting. Key Responsibilities Transaction & Deal Support Assist with NMTC transaction closings by organizing checklists, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with stakeholders. Maintain deal folders, data rooms, and filing systems with accurate documentation. Document key transaction milestones and maintain internal records. Team Operations & Communications Monitor and manage the NMTC team’s group email inbox, ensuring timely responses. Organize and track borrower reporting documents in SharePoint. Schedule internal and external meetings; manage team calendars. Draft supporting documents such as cover letters, templates, and signature pages. Participate in ongoing process improvements to increase operational efficiency. Compliance & Reporting Track compliance deadlines and reporting periods using Smartsheet. Collect and organize compliance documentation from borrowers, including impact reports and financial statements. Follow up with borrowers to ensure timely and complete reporting. Assist in preparing annual investor and CDFI Fund compliance reports. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree preferred (Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field). Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Smartsheet); experience with SharePoint preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with professional client-facing manner. 2+ years’ experience in finance, asset management, real estate, project management, or compliance preferred. Eagerness to learn about NMTC, community development finance, or impact investing . Preferred but not mandatory: Experience with underwriting or portfolio management. Knowledge of NMTC program requirements or real estate finance.
