Brand Partnerships Associate — Film Release (Fee + Reward Model) Kathputlee Arts & Films | Contract / Freelance | Mumbai / Delhi / RemoteWe are a 17-year-old production house with a slate of two films heading into theatrical release — and we are looking for one sharp, resourceful brand partnerships professional to come in as a strategic associate.This is not a job listing. It is an invitation to someone who already has relationships and knows how to close.About the films:The first is a Hindi sports drama set in the heartland of Rajasthan — a story about a village, a school on the verge of closure, and a young man who must carry the impossible weight of collective hope on his shoulders. A tribute to Indian folk culture, grit, and the human spirit. The film has won 34 international awards before its theatrical release, including Best Sports Film, Best Fiction Feature, Best Director, and Best Original Score at festivals across the world.The second is a Hindi family film set against the foothills of the Himalayas — told entirely through the eyes of a 7-year-old girl navigating her parents' divorce. A quiet, honest story about love, fracture, and healing. It was recognised as Most Promising Project at NFDC Film Bazaar 2025, has received international festival recognition, and has drawn strong interest from OTT platforms globally. The director behind both films is a 3 National Award winner whose previous work was Oscar-shortlisted.What we are looking for in terms of brand fit:Both films carry a focused market approach — family audiences, Hindi heartland, diaspora markets, and progressive urban India. Relevant brand categories include education, FMCG, children's wellness, financial services, lifestyle, OTT, apparel, and CSR-aligned brands. We are not looking for logo placements. We are looking for partnerships that make sense — brands that want to be part of a meaningful cultural moment.What the role looks like:You come in as a brand partnerships associate for the release window. You identify, pitch, and close sponsorship or co-branded partnerships. The model is fee-based with a performance reward on deals closed — we are open to structuring this properly with the right person.You are the right person if:You have worked in brand partnerships, sponsorship sales, or experiential marketing — either at an agency or brand-side. You have existing relationships with marketing decision-makers. You have personally closed deals, not just managed them. You are comfortable working independently, not waiting to be told what to do.Screening Questions — please answer all three to be considered:Name one brand deal or sponsorship you have personally closed — not managed, not supported.
