Not even close.Role: AI Agent EngineerLocation: RemoteRole Overview:We are hiring an AI Agent Engineer to build intelligent, task-performing AI agents that automate high-value workflows across Joveo's platform. You will design, ship, and iterate on agents that interact with APIs, make decisions, and complete real work on behalf of hiring teams.Key Responsibilities:- Build production AI agents that interact with internal and external APIs- Engineer agent workflows combining LLMs, tools, memory, and state management- Integrate agents with real systems — databases, job boards, messaging, and CRMs- Implement agent evaluation, testing, and monitoring in production environments- Collaborate with product to identify high-ROI agent use cases across the platform- Continuously improve agent accuracy, reliability, and cost efficiencyRequired Skills & Qualifications:- Strong experience building AI-powered applications and integrating LLM APIs- Familiarity with agent frameworks — LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar- Solid Python engineering skills including async patterns and API integration- Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval systems- Understanding of prompt engineering, structured outputs, and tool-calling patterns- Product mindset — ability to translate vague goals into shippable agent workflowsEqual Opportunity Employer:Joveo is an equal opportunity employer.
