Job Title: Structural CAD Engineer / Draughtsman / Technician (AutoCAD)Job Type: Fully RemoteJob Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled Structural CAD Engineer / Draughtsman /Technician to join our Structural Department. The role involves producing precise andcoordinated structural drawings as well as As-Built drawings for luxury residentialprojects. These projects often involve both new-build reinforced concrete and steelstructures. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, experienced in constructiondocumentation, and capable of supporting engineers from concept throughconstruction and as-built documentation.Key Responsibilities:Structural Drafting: Prepare detailed structural drawings including plans, sections,elevations, and typical details for RC and steel structures (e.g., foundations, slabs,beams, columns, and structural connections).As-Built Drawings: Develop accurate as-built drawings based on site markups, inputfrom engineers, and construction changes for submission and record purposes.Section & Detail Development: Generate clear and constructible cross-sections anddetailed drawings that accurately represent structural elements and coordinationneeds.Demolition & Renovation Detailing: Create structural drawings for the renovation andreinforcement of buildings, following input from engineers and survey data.Drawing Coordination: Collaborate with architectural and MEP teams to ensure clear,coordinated drawing packages for construction.Third-Party Drawing Review: Review and comment on structural drawings receivedfrom third parties (e.g. subcontractors, consultants) to ensure they align with projectrequirements and structural intent.Revision Management: Update drawings in response to design changes, RFIs, siteconditions, or engineer markups, maintaining version control and clarity.Typical Details Library: Develop and maintain a library of standard structural typical and construction details aligned with project standards and codes.Quality Assurance: Review drawings internally for accuracy, consistency, andcompliance with design intent and applicable codes (British Standards / Eurocodes).File Management: Maintain organized, up-to-date drawing files and documentationsets for active and archived projects.Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and provide drawing support to siteteams, ensuring technical clarity and timely delivery of drawing packages.Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards,technologies, and software to improve design and modeling efficiency.Qualifications:• Education: Diploma in Structural Drafting / Designing is required.• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in drafting civil / structural drawings usingAutoCAD. Construction site experience is advantageous.• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Revit / BIM (Structures) isan added advantage.
