Job Description

Ø Conducts weekly meetings with respective business unitsØ Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriateØ Working closely with the senior management is constantly improving processes, developing and evaluating ongoing HR policies, programs, functions, and activities Ø Prepare, generate, and analyze ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to personnel information and data, including but not limited to issues such as staffing levels, turnover, absenteeism, compensation, promotions, etc.Ø Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing laws/regulations affecting HumanØ Participate, as appropriate, in the investigation and resolution of ongoing employee relations problems, and anticipate problems whenever possible, and develop, recommend, and initiate appropriate steps for resolutionØ Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policiesØ Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigationsØ Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/requiredØ Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)Ø Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retentionØ Provides HR policy guidance and interpretationØ Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfersØ Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planningØ Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needsØ Participates in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs.
