Job Title: Algo Trader (Crypto Markets) Location:Remote/Hybrid Type:Full-time/Contract Experience Level:Mid-Senior Level About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Algo Trader with expertise in the crypto markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing profitable algorithmic trading strategies in the crypto space. This role requires strong programming skills, in-depth knowledge of crypto market microstructure, and a passion for leveraging technology to gain an edge in trading. Key Responsibilities: Develop, backtest, and deploy profitable algorithmic trading strategies for crypto futures and spot markets. Continuously monitor and optimize existing strategies based on market conditions and performance metrics. Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to improve trading algorithms and identify new opportunities. Collaborate with the development team to ensure strategies are efficiently executed on exchange APIs. Maintain and manage risk by developing robust risk management protocols for algorithmic trading. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the crypto markets, including regulatory changes, market trends, and technological advancements. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in crypto trading with a demonstrable profitable trading strategy. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java for developing trading algorithms. Proficiency with trading platforms and exchange APIs (Binance, Coinbase, CoinSwitch, etc.). Deep understanding of the crypto market structure, order types, and liquidity dynamics. Experience with high-frequency trading (HFT), medium-frequency trading (MFT), or low-frequency trading (LFT) strategies. Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques for quantitative trading. Solid grasp of risk management principles in algorithmic trading. Ability to work independently and in a team to solve complex trading and technical problems. Nice to Have: Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) for running trading algorithms. Familiarity with smart contract protocols and decentralized exchanges. Experience with database management systems for storing and analyzing large datasets.
