Who We are Looking for We are looking for a Regional Medical Strategist reporting to Director, Regional Scientific Comms & Editorial. The Regional Medical Strategist is responsible to provide strategic and scientific account leadership on current and new accounts. Expand current publications business and evolve service to include other MedComms services and deliverables (i.e., beyond publications). Provide on-the-ground support for business and operations teams in the region to strengthen MIMS’s client engagement.   What Impact You Will Make ·        Take lead on business development opportunities and delivery of services coming from Syneos and other broader ‘big ticket’ clients (e.g., BAT, GW/Jazz).·        Undertake line management for medical writers dedicated to support such accounts.·        Engage and support MIMS emerging markets to maximise regional and country-level support where needed.·        Scientific account leadership across regional business opportunities and projects to support pre-existing in-country teams.·        Provide overarching leadership for programme with specific focus on its expansion to other countries (e.g., Philippines) and its development/evolution to support training of junior to mid-level writers.·        Work with Editorial training Lead to ensure ongoing optimisation of programme, curriculum, and delivery.·        Provide in-house expertise to generate opportunities and deliver services using these platform types.·        Work with regional leads to enhance/optimise our service offerings and capabilities to deliver meetings and events using such platforms.·        Identify potential partners to further shape offering for clients – across advisory board and expert panel meeting settings.     What Skills and Experience You will Bring ·        Graduate degree in the sciences (PhD, MSc) or healthcare science degree (MD, PharmD, BSc in nursing or allied profession) ·        At least 5 years’ experience working for a healthcare communications agency – ideally in an editorial/scientific capacity and gaining experience in delivering face-to-face / online programmes ·        Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an attention to detail and accuracy (assessed on application) ·        Collaborative approach to teamwork ·        Flexible approach to work ·        Sound ability to distil complex science into clear, concise messages ·        Good attention to detail ·        Familiar with Microsoft Office applications Key Competencies:·        Strong scientific acumen and the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies and content and to distil complex science into clear, concise messages.·        Strong knowledge of MedComms services, client needs and editorial processes.·        Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.·        Extensive knowledge in engaging and collaborating with external experts.·        Proficiency in MS Suite and relevant project management tools     Why Work with Us You will be part of an insightful, engaging, and progressive team working with local and regional clients.·        You will have the opportunity to work on the whole spectrum of client servicing and project management.Groom your experience in Healthcare Advertising, Medical Education, Healthcare Public Relations and Medical communications agency service.Work with an innovative unit that explores future medical transformations and digital changes.We provide a safe work environment that promotes respect, work-life balance and wellness   Perks You Will Enjoy
