Job Description

Role: Manager – Accounts ReceivableReports To: General Manager-FinanceWe’re looking for a hands-on AR leader to manage key B2B accounts while leading a team. This is a player-coach role, combining execution, ownership, and team leadership to improve collections and strengthen financial operations.What you’ll doOwn end-to-end AR for key B2B accounts (collections, disputes, cash application, invoicing validation) Drive reduction in DSO, aging, and overdue balances Lead, coach, and monitor a team of AR analysts (KPIs, SLAs) Handle complex escalations and customer negotiations Perform and review daily/monthly reconciliations and ensure ledger accuracy Own AR book closing activities and ensure timely month-end closure Ensure adherence to timelines, controls, and compliance requirements Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (customers, auditors, partners) Review and report receivable aging/disputes and guide team on priorities Partner with Sales, Ops and Billing to resolve discrepancies Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation in O2C What we’re looking for5–8 years of AR/O2C experience (B2B) Proven ability to manage a portfolio + lead a team Strong experience in collections, reconciliations, and month-end closing Ability to manage stakeholders and work in a fast-paced startup environment ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) preferred Success MetricsIndividual + team collections performance Reduction in DSO and overdue balances Timely and accurate month-end book closure Reconciliation accuracy and audit readiness SLA adherence and faster dispute resolution
