Release Manager - Application Support (Immediate Start)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Release Manager to oversee and manage critical applications, ensuring that all updates and new features are released efficiently while meeting the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging development and operations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business services.Main ResponsibilitiesPlanning and Scheduling Develop and maintain a centralised release schedule. You will be responsible for coordinating all project and operational deployments across the organisation to ensure alignment and prevent conflicts.Risk Management Identify, manage, and mitigate risks proactively. You will resolve any issues that may affect the release scope, schedule, and overall quality, ensuring that potential roadblocks are addressed before they impact delivery.Team Coordination Lead and coordinate Go-Live activities across multiple teams. This includes the meticulous execution of deployment plans and comprehensive checklists during the designated release windows to guarantee successful deployments.Process Improvement Establish and enforce robust release management processes and standards. Your goal will be to ensure efficient, secure, and repeatable deployment practices, driving continuous improvement within the release lifecycle.Communication Serve as the primary communicator for all release-related information. You will provide timely and accurate status updates to all relevant stakeholders, including executive leadership and individual project teams, ensuring transparency throughout the release process.Essential Requirements (Must Have)Jira Proficiency: Excellent experience utilising Jira, including the advanced configuration and use of dashboards for tracking and reporting.Agile Methodology: Proven and excellent experience working effectively within an Agile environment.Regulated Industry Experience: Strong background working in highly regulated environments. Experience within the Pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable and preferred.Professional Certification: Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a strongly equivalent professional qualification.
