Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Product CAD Modeller who can translate ideas into precise, manufacturable 3D models. You will work closely with the founder and product team to design products and tooling that are production-ready. This is not just a “CAD job.” You will be involved in product thinking, manufacturability, and real-world problem solving. Key Responsibilities - Create detailed 3D models for silicone and plastic products using Fusion 360 (preferred) or equivalent CAD software - Develop tooling designs (moulds, inserts, parting strategies) with guidance and training - Convert sketches, references, and concepts into production-ready CAD files - Optimize designs for: - Manufacturability (moulding constraints, draft angles, undercuts) - Strength, durability, and usability - Work with CNC/toolroom teams to ensure designs translate accurately into tooling - Iterate rapidly based on feedback from real production runs - Maintain clean, structured CAD files and version control - What Makes This Role Different - You will see your designs go from screen → tool → finished product - Direct exposure to manufacturing, tooling, and product scale-up - Work on high-volume, real-world products, not just concepts - Opportunity to learn tool design, silicone behaviour, and production constraints - High ownership and fast execution environment - Requirements - 5–8 years of experience in CAD modelling - Strong proficiency in Fusion 360 (preferred); SolidWorks, Creo, or similar also acceptable - Experience in plastics, toys, baby products, or consumer product design - Solid understanding of: - Draft angles - Wall thickness - Parting lines - Basic moulding principles - Ability to think beyond aesthetics—focus on function and manufacturability - Attention to detail and structured working style - Preferred - Experience with tooling or mould design (not mandatory—training will be provided) - Exposure to CNC machining or manufacturing environments - Hands-on mindset—someone who likes building, testing, improving - Location Preference We strongly prefer candidates based near Chandivali / Andheri East / Powai for ease of collaboration and speed.
