Job Title: AI / ML Engineer (Investment & Data Focus) Job Location- Mumbai Work Mode- 5 days WFO Company-A reputable client of Adecco in Investment Management /Capital Markets domain Core Profile - 4–10 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or quantitative engineering - Strong hands-on programming expertise, with Python as a core requirement - Demonstrated experience building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in production (beyond research or prototyping) Technical Expertise - Proven ability to train and optimize machine learning models on structured data, ideally including time-series - Strong grasp of model evaluation, statistical rigor, overfitting, and validation techniques - Experience with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent - Ability to work with large-scale datasets and design robust data pipelines - Familiarity with modern AI tools, including LLMs and their real-world applications Data & Analytical Thinking - Strong problem-solving skills with a data-first, hypothesis-driven mindset - Ability to extract actionable insights from historical data, including pattern recognition, anomaly detection, and performance analysis - Comfortable working with noisy, incomplete, and real-world datasets Engineering & Build Capability - Experience building end-to-end systems: data ingestion → modeling → deployment → consumption - Ability to develop internal tools, APIs, dashboards, or decision-support systems - Familiarity with cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP preferred) Domain Preference (Nice to Have) - Prior experience in finance, trading, fintech, or quantitative domains is highly desirable but not mandatory Interested candidates can forward their cvs to mohan.kammar@
