Without it, we’d risk regulatory violations and lose centralized control over terminal provisioning, monitoring, and updates, making operations slower and less secure.It also drives over $2M in annual savings through automation and remote management, and enables smooth international expansion by providing a scalable, cloud-native platform. Without it, scaling to new markets would be costly, slow, and fragmented.Responsibilities: 1. Technical Leadership & ArchitectureDefine and evolve the end-to-end system architecture for Geidea Store, ensuring scalability, security, multi-tenancy, and cloud-agnostic deployment (on-prem, hybrid, cloud).Drive technical design reviews and enforce architectural standards in collaboration with the Technical Design Authority.Ensure all solutions comply with fintech regulations (e.g., PCI DSS), cybersecurity policies, and data privacy requirements.2. Stakeholder Collaboration & CommunicationPartner closely with DevOps, Network, and Systems teams to ensure robust CI/CD, monitoring, and infrastructure reliability.Act as the primary engineering interface for external software vendors and international clients, translating business needs into technical requirements.Provide regular, concise project status updates to Directors and CXOs balancing technical depth with strategic clarity.3. Team Leadership & DevelopmentMentor, coach, and grow a high-performing team of 7–8 full-stack/backend engineers across Java, Node.js, TypeScript, and cloud technologies.Foster a culture of engineering excellence, psychological safety, ownership, and continuous learning (e.g., AI/ML, new frameworks).Conduct performance reviews, career pathing, and skill-gap analysis to retain and develop top talent.4. Delivery & Operational ExcellenceOwn the delivery roadmap for core TMS capabilities: device management, app/firmware OTA updates, telemetry, diagnostics, and user self-service.Champion Agile/DevOps practices, incident management, and operational metrics (e.g., MTTR, uptime, deployment frequency).Balance innovation (e.g., AI-assisted workflows) with stability, security, and technical debt reduction.Qualifications:10+ years in software engineering, with 4+ years in an engineering management or tech lead role.Degree requiredProven experience designing and operating cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platforms (AWS preferred).Strong background in microservices architecture, API design, and secure system integration (Must)Experience working in regulated environments (fintech, payments, or IoT) with exposure to compliance standards.
