Learn more: overviewWe are hiring a Head of Platform & Network to lead our hosting/platform operations and core network delivery. You will set operational standards, grow and mentor the team, and own reliability, security, and performance across Linux/Windows hosting stacks, virtualization, and ISP-style network infrastructure—including firewalls/NGFW and monitoring/automation at scale.This is a senior leadership role for someone who has done the work deeply and can now scale it through people, process, and architecture and reports to CTO/Founder.ResponsibilitiesLead platform + network operations: roadmap, reliability, security, capacity, and cost; build and mentor the team; own SLAs, incidents, and vendor relationships.Support presales with the Head of Sales: translate customer needs into solution designs, validate feasibility (platform/network/security), and provide technical expertise during pitches, demos, and Q&A.Run Linux/Windows hosting at scale: physical/virtual lifecycle (IPMI/iDRAC/KVM), DNS/mail/web/DB, cPanel/WHM & Plesk; govern Proxmox / SolusVM / Virtualizor / Hyper-V.Own ISP-style networking: design/expand/optimize L3–L7 services; OSPF/BGP/MPLS; segmentation, VPNs, resilience, DR, and TRAI-aligned practices.Own firewall/NGFW operations (policies, segmentation, VPN, logging, upgrades, HA as applicable) with Palo Alto / Fortinet / SonicWall experience.Standardize monitoring (LibreNMS, Zabbix, Icinga2, Grafana/Prometheus/Alertmanager) and automation (Ansible; NOC-PS where used) with scripting (Python/Bash).Drive RCA and permanent fixes; maintain accurate diagrams, standards, and runbooks.Requirements8+ years in managed hosting/IaaS and/or ISP networks, including people leadership (team/tech lead/manager).Hands-on experience supporting sales cycles as a technical authority (solutioning, sizing assumptions, high-level architecture, security/compliance talking points), with clear written and verbal communication to non-technical stakeholders.Strong Linux + Windows production experience; expert-level cPanel/WHM & Plesk; solid virtualization (Proxmox/SolusVM/Virtualizor; Hyper-V a plus).Advanced routing/switching (Juniper/Cisco). BGP/VLAN/OSPF,VxLAN. Proven Ansible automation + hands-on monitoring with LibreNMS/Zabbix/Icinga2 and/or Grafana/Prometheus/Alertmanager.Production NGFW/firewall experience required in either Palo Alto, Fortinet (FortiGate), or SonicWall.Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication: Marathi/Hindi/English.On-site at our Office in Shivajinagar, Pune, India
