Job Description

Lead Specialist – Risk Consulting (Risk Engineer) We are seeking a talented individual to join our Knowledge Services team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai and is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. Responsibilities Peer review risk consulting reports to identify gaps and raise flags highlighting the impact. Use strong consulting skills to extract insights from data. Validate the data on LE (Loss Estimates) Property Damage and Business Interruption calculations. Create PowerPoint presentations for stakeholders. Provide finance support such as open project numbers, invoices, follow‑up on past‑due payments, and entry of opportunities in Marsh systems. Qualifications 5 to 7 years of experience with Property Risk Consulting; Property Insurance domain background preferred. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail. Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil) or related field. Knowledge of insurance basics and relevant policy terms. Client and project delivery experience, with demonstrated ability to present, communicate, and deliver technical content to internal stakeholders and external clients on complex subject matter. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at a moderate to advanced level. Strong written and verbal communication in English. What makes you stand out? Strong academic rigor with a degree in Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or related fields from reputed institutions. Strong knowledge of property risk engineering and any industrial background advantageous. Written and verbal communication skills in French would be an advantage.
