Job Description Role: PGT PhysicsExperience: Min 5 yearsLocation:Thengana, Kerela Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Physics to join our academic team in Thengana, Kerala. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physics instruction to senior secondary students, fostering a deep understanding of scientific principles, and inspiring curiosity and critical thinking. This role is vital in shaping students’ academic foundations and preparing them for higher education and future careers in science and technology. The PGT Physics teacher will contribute to curriculum development, student assessment, and a positive learning environment grounded in innovation and excellence. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective physics lessons aligned with the curriculum for classes XI and XII. Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials that promote conceptual understanding and practical application. Conduct laboratory experiments and ensure safe, hands-on learning experiences. Monitor student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Mentor students in academic and career guidance, particularly in science-related fields. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, professional development, and school-wide academic initiatives. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Physics (B.Sc. with Physics as a major) and a Post Graduate degree (M.Sc. in Physics). Valid B.Ed. qualification or equivalent teaching certification. Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary education (Classes XI–XII). Strong subject knowledge and proficiency in modern teaching methodologies. Experience with laboratory management and conducting practical sessions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
