Role Overview BCITS is seeking a Project Delivery Head with strong experience delivering Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) / Smart Meter IT programs for public-sector utilities and government-led DISCOM projects.This role is responsible for end-to-end delivery of AMI IT systems including HES, MDM, Mobile Applications, Web Portals, and System Integration, with a strong focus on SLA adherence, compliance, and large-scale rollout execution.Key Responsibilities:• Lead end-to-end delivery of AMI / Smart Meter IT programs for public-sector utilities• Oversee HES, MDM, system integration, mobile & web platforms at scale• Coordinate with DISCOMs, government agencies, system integrators, OEMs, and telecom partners• Ensure compliance with tender conditions, SLAs, and regulatory requirements• Drive project governance, risk management, and milestone tracking• Act as senior escalation point for utility and government stakeholdersExperience & Skills:• 15+ years of IT experience with proven AMI / Smart Meter project delivery• Strong exposure to government / DISCOM utility projects• Deep understanding of HES, MDM, data integration, and field deployment challenges• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skillsWhy BCITS:• Opportunity to lead large, nationally significant AMI programs• High-visibility role working closely with utilities and government stakeholders• Platform to shape delivery excellence in public-sector digital infrastructure
