We design youthful, contemporary identities and campaigns for brands, cultural institutions, and community-led initiatives. Gaysi Family (founded in 2008), is one of India’s most influential LGBTQIA+ media platforms and community spaces. While Gaysi focuses on storytelling and community, AYS functions as a full-fledged creative studio, partnering with organisations to shape brand systems, editorial worlds, campaigns, publications, and digital experiences.We’re looking for a Junior to Mid-level Graphic Designer who is serious about designing and who enjoys thinking, refining, and building visual systems, and who wants to grow within a studio environment.This is a full-time, on-site role in Khar West, Mumbai. No WFH or Hybrid provision. What You’ll Work On• Designing brand identities, visual systems, and campaign assets• Editorial layouts for publications, zines, reports, and long-form content• Design layouts and visuals for websites• Brand collaterals across print and digital touchpoints• Concept development, moodboards, and visual explorations• Supporting the Creative Director across campaigns & projects• Ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail across outputsThis is not a role for social media design or illustration. Social assets may be part of the work, but always within a larger brand or narrative system.What We’re Looking For• 1–3 years of experience in a design studio, agency, or equivalent practice• Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign• A portfolio that demonstrates: – Brand thinking and visual systems – Editorial design and layout sensitivity – Typography, hierarchy, and composition – Ability to work across formats (print + digital)• A solid understanding of design fundamentals and not just social media trends• Familiarity with contemporary Indian and global design movements• An interest in culture, identity, publishing, or design-led activism• Ability to take feedback, iterate, and refine work• Good time management and comfort working across multiple projects• Clear communication and a collaborative mindset• Based in Mumbai and available for full-time, on-site workNice to Have (But Not Mandatory)• Illustration or visual storytelling abilities • Experience with Figma or Framer• Basic motion or video skillsLocation & CompensationLocation: On-site, Khar West, MumbaiCompensation: ₹4.5 – ₹5.5 LPA (based on experience)*Kindly do not apply:If currently not based in MumbaiIf expecting higher salary packageIf do not have relevant work experience
