Job Description

Role Overview We’re looking for a performance-focused Meta Ads specialist with 3-4 years of experience managing eCommerce accounts, ideally in retail or sports. You will own end-to-end Meta performance management from strategy and creative input to daily optimisation and scaling especially during high-intensity seasonal windows. Key Responsibilities Meta Ads Strategy & Ownership - Develop and execute full-funnel Meta strategies. - Align campaigns with seasonal spikes in cricket. - Plan and manage scaling strategies during peak sale periods High-Budget Campaign Management - Manage and optimise ad budgets ranging from AUD 20K-150K+ per month - Confidently scale winning campaigns while maintaining target ROAS / CPA - Monitor pacing, spend allocation, and budget efficiency daily Daily Optimisation & Scaling - Hands-on daily management of: 1. Campaign structure 2. Audience testing 3. Creative testing 4. Bid strategy adjustments - Identify underperforming segments quickly and act fast - Optimise towards revenue, not vanity metrics Creative Collaboration - Work closely with Head of Creative & Social team - Contribute to: 1. Hook ideas 2. Ad angles 3. Offer positioning 4. Iteration cycles - Provide clear feedback based on performance data - Participate in ideation sessions. Performance input is critical Data & Reporting - Analyse data via: 1. Meta Ads Manager 2. Shopify 3. Triple Whale (or similar attribution tools) - Understand attribution differences and interpret real performance - Provide clear weekly performance summaries with action plans Seasonality & Sporting Calendar Awareness - Understand retail & cricket seasonality - Plan proactively around: 1. Tournament cycles 2. School seasons 3. Holiday sale periods 4. Anticipate scale windows instead of reacting late Continuous Upskilling - Stay updated with: 1. Meta algorithm changes 2. Creative trends 3. AI tools 4. Meta ad updates - Actively test new ad formats and strategies - Bring new growth ideas to the table regularly Requirements - 3-4 years of hands-on Meta Ads experience (eCommerce mandatory) - Experience managing AUD 100K-150K+ or similar monthly ad budgets - Proven results with clear case studies (ROAS improvement, revenue growth, scaling examples) - Strong understanding of full-funnel strategy - Comfortable in fast-paced, seasonal retail environments - Data-driven, analytical, and commercially sharp - Creative-minded. Understands what makes an ad convert - Able to work independently and take ownership - Experience managing TikTok Ads campaigns for eCommerce brands is a strong plus, particularly in scaling short-form creative-led performance.
