Position : Senior Automation Tester FTE requirementLocation : MumbaiRole Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to lead our Quality Assurance initiatives.1.You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive automation frameworks, validating complex data migrations (ETL), and ensuring the performance and security of our applications.2.This role requires a "Quality Advocate" who can interact directly with US stakeholders and translate business requirements into a robust testing strategy. Key Responsibilities Automation Framework Design: Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, TestNG, or Cucumber) for web and API testing. ETL & Data Validation.3.Perform end-to-end ETL testing, ensuring data integrity, transformation accuracy, and performance across high-volume data pipelines. Security & Performance: Conduct proactive security scans (OWASP Top 10) and performance/load tests using tools like JMeter or K6 to identify system bottlenecks. US Client Engagement: Lead QA syncs with US-based product owners.4. Clearly communicate test coverage, defect trends, and release readiness in a global business context. Jira & Defect Management: Manage the full defect lifecycle in Jira. Prioritize bugs based on business impact and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. Technical Leadership: Serve as a mentor for junior testers, lead code reviews for automation scripts, and define the "Definition of Done" for the engineering team.Required Technical Skills: 1.Automation Core: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. 2.Programming: Advanced proficiency in Python or Java for writing clean, maintainable test scripts. SQL & ETL: Strong SQL skills (Joins, Aggregations, Window Functions) and experience testing ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, or AWS Glue. 3.Performance Tools: Experience with JMeter, Locust, or Gatling for load and stress testing. CI/CD Integration: Proven ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps). Ticketing & ALM: Expert-level knowledge of Jira, 4.Confluence, and Zephyr/Xray for test management. Good to Have (Certifications & Extras) Certifications: ISTQB Advanced Level (Technical Test Analyst), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). Security Tools: Familiarity with SonarQube, ZAP, or Burp Suite.Domain Experience: Prior experience in Fintech, Healthcare, or EdTech projects involving US compliance (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2).
