Role Purpose: To ensure smooth, reliable, and safe operation of industrial machinery and plant processes — including primary, secondary, and auxiliary equipment — with a strong emphasis onfield services, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting . The role demands a hands-on professional who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to independently handle customer sites, optimize operations, and drive efficiency while maintaining safety standards.Key Responsibilities: Performfield service activities , includinginstallation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenanceof industrial machinery and automation systems. Independently manage service assignments at customer sites, ensuring timely execution and customer satisfaction. Carry outroot cause analysisand implement corrective and preventive measures to improve equipment reliability and performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Work with a wide range ofindustrial automation systems , including PLCs, industrial controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Configure and troubleshootmeasurement systemsand instrumentation for process monitoring and optimization. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance standards in all operations. Handleindustrial communication protocolssuch as Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, DeviceNet, and Ethernet-based systems. Read, understand, and modify high-level programming (C/C++/C#) to support automation and integration requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers to ensure service goals are achieved. Lead small service teams on projects, providing guidance, technical support, and mentoring. Prepare technical documentation, operational reports, and performance improvement records. Maintain compliance withsafety standards, documentation requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives .Required Skills & Experience:8–10 years of proven experienceinfield services for industrial machinery . Strong exposure toinstallation and commissioningof machinery and automation systems. Hands-on experience withdifferent PLC platformsand industrial control systems. Practical knowledge ofpneumatics, hydraulics, and measurement systems . Proficiency inindustrial communication protocols(Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, DeviceNet, Ethernet, etc.). Ability to understand and work withC/C++/C# programmingfor automation support. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to root cause analysis. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Ability tonavigate challenging customer situationsand deliver effective solutions. Leadership qualities with the ability to manage, mentor, and drive a service team. Self-driven, quick learner, and result-oriented professional.
