Overview Job Title: Cardiologist Responsibilities To diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, and valvular disorders. To perform and interpret diagnostic tests including ECG, 2D Echo, TMT, Holter monitoring, and other cardiac investigations. To provide emergency cardiac care including management of acute coronary syndromes and cardiac emergencies. To evaluate patients for invasive procedures and coordinate with Cath Lab/Interventional team when required. To ensure proper documentation of patient records as per hospital and NABH standards. To participate in ward rounds, ICU rounds, and OPD consultations regularly. To counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive care. To adhere to infection control practices and patient safety protocols. To coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. To participate in clinical audits, CMEs, and quality improvement initiatives. To ensure rational use of medications and follow evidence-based clinical practices. To comply with hospital policies, ethical standards, and statutory regulations. Preferred Candidate Profile Qualification: DM/DNB Cardiology (Mandatory) Valid medical registration with State Medical Council / NMC Minimum 25 years of experience in cardiology practice (preferred) Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in cardiology Experience in handling emergency cardiac cases Good communication and patient counseling skills Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment Knowledge of NABH standards and quality protocols (preferred) Ethical, compassionate, and patient-centric approach #J-18808-Ljbffr
