We are seeking an experienced Production Head to lead and oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations for industrial pump sets1. Production & Operations Management- Oversee complete manufacturing operations of industrial pumps (assembly, machining, testing, dispatch). - Ensure production targets are achieved as per monthly and annual plans. - Optimize plant capacity utilization and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). - Monitor daily production metrics and implement corrective actions.2. Process Improvement & Cost Control- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives. - Reduce manufacturing costs through process optimization and waste elimination. - Improve cycle time, productivity, and yield. - Lead automation and modernization initiatives.3. Quality & Compliance- Ensure adherence to ISO and industry quality standards. - Maintain strict quality control during machining, assembly, and testing of pumps. - Collaborate with QA/QC to reduce rejections and customer complaints.4. Team Leadership & Development- Lead and mentor production managers, engineers, and shop-floor teams. - Drive a performance-oriented culture with clear KPIs. - Conduct training programs for skill enhancement.5. Planning & Coordination- Work closely with supply chain, procurement, and maintenance teams. - Ensure raw material availability and inventory optimization. - Coordinate with sales and dispatch teams for on-time delivery.6. Safety & Compliance- Ensure adherence to plant safety standards and statutory regulations. - Promote a zero-accident culture across the plantSkills & Competencies- Strong knowledge of industrial pump manufacturing (centrifugal, multistage, submersible pumps). - assembly, and hydraulic testing. - Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle). - Excellent leadership and decision-making skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. - Strategic planning and execution capability.
