Position: Finance Controller / Finance Head Location: Mumbai Experience: 10+ years (Post-qualification as a Chartered Accountant) Reporting To: CEO / Managing DirectorRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Controller / Finance Head to lead and manage the entire finance function. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Chartered Accountant (CA) with over 10 years of post-qualification experience who can provide strong financial leadership, ensure compliance, drive operational efficiency, and contribute significantly to strategic decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting and ReportingOversee all general accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with Indian GAAP/Ind AS and statutory requirementsManage timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsCoordinate and manage the annual financial audit process with external auditorsDevelop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrityBudgeting, Forecasting & FP&ALead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with business teamsDevelop and implement financial forecasting models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to managementPerform financial modeling and business case analysis for strategic initiatives and capex decisionsTreasury & Cash Flow ManagementManage working capital and optimize cash utilizationDrive cash flow planning and forecasting strategiesManage banking relationships, credit facilities, and foreign exchange exposuresTaxation & ComplianceEnsure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations (Income Tax, GST, etc.)Oversee preparation and filing of tax returns and statutory filingsManage tax assessments, audits, and liaise with authorities/consultantsFinancial Control & Risk ManagementEstablish and enforce financial controls across business processesMonitor financial KPIs and identify cost optimization opportunitiesAssess and manage financial risks including credit, market, and operational risksQualifications & SkillsQualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI10+ years of post-qualification experience in a senior finance rolePrior experience in manufacturing preferred (electronics/auto components/high-tech sectors is an advantage)Strong understanding of Indian GAAP/Ind AS, corporate finance, and tax regulationsProficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho Books) and advanced ExcelStrong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skillsAbility to think strategically and translate financial data into business insights
