Role Title: Product Analyst Position Summary: The Product Analyst acts as a bridge between stakeholders and development teams, facilitating continuous discovery of requirements, and translating user needs into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria. They support Product Owners and Tech Leads, participate in Agile ceremonies, and drive value-focused development. CANDIDATE PROFILE: Education and Experience: Required: Minimum 2+ years experience in information technology. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certifications. 2+ years experience in Information Technology (IT) business analytics. 2+ years experience working in a Scrum Agile team. Preferred: Experience with functional or technical aspects of Full-Service Property Management Systems Experience in creating business presentations and communications documentation. Experience in guiding and advising others. Experience in working with varied architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information, applications, organizational structure, etc. Knowledge of emerging technologies (new to the Marriott Environment as well as those that are new to the information systems industry). Experience with tools, techniques and practices for protecting the integrity of corporate data and associated Marriott technology practices, standards and procedures. Familiarity with Marriotts information architecture and information management methodology. Familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional and local software architecture and infrastructure components. Familiarity with SPA (REACT) based components and framework. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES: Requirements & Backlog Management: Elicit requirements through workshops, define, groom, and help prioritize the product backlog with the Product Owner and Technical Lead. User Story Definition: Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements that enable developers and testers to start work. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the agile team, managing expectations and ensuring shared understanding. Agile Ceremony Facilitation: Actively participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Refinement sessions, and Retrospectives. Requirements Analysis: Work with stakeholders to understand their requirements, guide, justify, and prioritize features that maximize business value. Quality Assurance Support: Validate that the developed solution meets business needs and satisfies acceptance criteria.
